Life on the farm
Children remember most when they see an animal truly up close.
The farm is not just a place for a photograph. It is a space where every day includes feeding, cleaning, checking, repairing and adapting to the weather. That is why a farm visit is especially meaningful for children, families and groups who want to see farm life up close.
Some animals are curious, some calmer, some louder. Each has its own habits. During visits we show guests what is possible, safe and pleasant to see at that moment.
Svjetluca is the horse on the farm. Guests can see her during an arranged visit, always calmly, with the hosts and without forcing the animal for a photo.
Cows and calves are part of everyday life on the farm. They stay in the pasture or stable, depending on the weather and season. Children often find them especially interesting because they make farm animal life easy to see up close.
Pigs on the farm have their own space to move, root and rest. They are part of the real yard and daily work, and often show visitors the cheerful, slightly messy side of farm life.
The hens move around their coop, and the rooster usually makes sure everyone notices him. Eggs are offered when there are enough, depending on the flock, weather and season.
Bees have a special place on the farm and are an important part of the natural environment. The apiary is not always visited, only when conditions allow it and when it is safe for guests.
The raspberry field and orchard are not animals, but they belong to the same circle of farm life. They provide raspberries, juices, syrups, jams and some of the homemade flavours available by season.

When children visit, it matters to us that they have enough time to observe animals, ask questions and experience the farm without rushing. Not every animal is always ready for closeness, and that is part of learning — respect for animals comes first.
For schools, kindergartens and smaller groups, visits are arranged in advance so we can prepare the arrival according to children’s age, group size and weather conditions.
